Aesthetics and COVID-19: What You Should Know

Over the last year, the novel coronavirus turned our world upside down with over 3.9 million cases in the United States. For one, masks are now a necessary part of your wardrobe. For another, you’ve probably used more hand sanitizer in the last year than you have in your entire life. And all the lockdowns put a damper on most people’s social lives as well as on their mental health.

Now with the vaccine rollout, it may seem like there’s a light at the end of a tunnel. However, it’s important to stay up-to-date on safety precautions and guidelines so you can stay safe and healthy. The good news, though — you can resume your self-care and aesthetics routine.

At Nexclin Medicine, located in Roswell, Georgia, the safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority. Here’s how appointments at our office have changed since the pandemic began, and how we’re doing our part to stop the spread.

Staying up-to-date

It’s no secret that the global pandemic is constantly shifting, sometimes daily. This might have made you fearful, anxious, or kept you house-ridden. With all the changes, it can be hard to keep up and to tell right information from wrong.

The best way to keep fear and anxiety at bay is by staying informed with current information from reliable sources. Here are some links to resources that can help our patients residing in Roswell, Georgia.

Make an aesthetics appointment today

You might have held off on making aesthetics appointments. You already know you should never make an appointment if you’re experiencing COVID symptoms or have been in contact with someone who was. But if you're healthy, you can treat yourself to the confidence boost that one of our aesthetic services can offer.

We’ve put safety front and center and abide by the laws put in place for our office to stay open.

Changes we’ve made

Our office has gone through many changes since the COVID-19. Here are some of the changes we’ve implemented to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Masks

We have a mandatory mask mandate for patients and employees. Please wear a mask when entering our facility and in our common areas. If you’re receiving a facial treatment, only remove your mask when your technician instructs you to do so.

Sanitizer

We have sanitizer bottles throughout our office to help stop the spread of germs, so please use them frequently. After each patient, we thoroughly sanitize our treatment rooms. Any materials used will be disposed of and replaced with new ones for each patient.

Social distancing

To ensure proper social distancing can take place, we’ve cut back the number of patients we see and have spaced out appointments accordingly. When in common areas, please remain six feet away from other patients at all times.

We take these rules seriously, and have managers on duty to ensure all of our staff and patients abide by them. Please call our office if you have any questions about the measures we take.

How you can do your part

Everyone has to do their part to ensure safety during this unsettling time. Without the cooperation of you and our other amazing patients, we wouldn’t be able to keep bringing you top-of-the-line aesthetic services.

To help ensure your safety and the safety of our staff, we politely ask that you follow the ADA’s guidelines:

We know just how important self-care is, especially during these daunting times. Undergoing treatment is the perfect way to boost your spirits and enhance your image.

Get care in the comfort of your home

Even with safety measures in place, we understand that not everyone is comfortable coming in for a face-to-face appointment. And for those patients who are experiencing symptoms, we still want to offer you at-home care.

Telemedicine is an easy, two-way audiovisual visit that allows you to get health care or aesthetic services from the comfort of your home. Many insurance companies cover a consultation or prescription refill without coming into our office.

Whether you want to come to our office or book a telemedicine meeting, we’re here for you. Contact us today to book an appointment and to learn more about our safety measures.
