Melissa Anderson, FNP

Melissa found nursing as a second career and graduated from Kennesaw State University's accelerated BSN program. Melissa started her career as a registered nurse in the Technology dependent intensive care unit at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Working with families to be successful at home, Melissa developed strong skills for managing chronic care. Melissa went on to get her Master in Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Kennesaw State University. Since then, Melissa has been practicing family medicine and chronic care. Melissa loves to counsel patients on health promotion and help them create working strategies to manage their long-term health conditions.

When not working, Melissa loves to travel with her husband, watch football, and spend as much time as she can with her (almost) grown sons
